4.3 Zero-Knowledge Encryption (Optional)

We offer optional client-side encryption where your files are encrypted on your device before upload. In this mode, we cannot access your unencrypted files. You are responsible for managing your encryption keys, and lost keys cannot be recovered.

Important Security Notice: While we implement industry-leading security measures, no system can guarantee absolute protection. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or security breaches will never occur. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Aurora Media Vault is a Canadian service designed primarily for Canadian users. If you access our services from outside Canada, please be aware that:

  • You consent to the transfer of your data to Canada

We recommend that international users review whether Canadian privacy laws provide adequate protection for their needs.

10. Children's Privacy

Aurora Media Vault is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@auroravault.ca.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.
